Remya Benedict joined Specialty Eye at the Mind’s Eye Center in the spring of 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physics with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. With over nine years of experience as a teacher, she has worked extensively with children, including those with behavioral issues, ADHD, autism, and developmental delays. Remya has completed 2000 hours of Vision Therapy sessions and is currently studying for her COVD certification. She has also completed multiple certifications and training in the Vision Therapy field and has experience working with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) cases. As a wife and mother of two beautiful girls, Remya enjoys helping children with their development and is dedicated to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to fully experience the world around them. She is honored to be part of such a vital field and looks forward to continuing to make a difference in her patients' lives. In her spare time, she loves listening to music, choreography, yoga, and hiking.
